I don't know why nobody has bitched about this before.
But if you look closely, potted plants are ugly. Disgustingly ugly. I find it hard now to look at them. If the plants did not come from the ground then they look ugly. It is because they don't belong there. A pot or a vase can be beautiful on its own, just as a flower, but putting them together is like man trying to say "we can be as beautiful as you too God".
And we can not do anything nature can do, just as nature can't do anything we can. We live in separate worlds, us and nature, and it is disgusting to believe we do not. To believe we are superior to nature!? Simply idiotic.
To "own" nature? That is unspeakable.
And as we slowly snuff out the competition as if to say we are superior to it, so few see that to prove our superiority we must recognize our inferiority. That we prove everyday that we are lesser than nature in so many ways but we still try to destroy it, that being human kinds only masterful original virtue.
